Summary of Propel Benefits
Health Benefits
Propel provides health benefits for you and your eligible dependents (which includes your domestic partner and your children and/or the children of your domestic partner).
Medical. For Medical Plans, you may choose from a selection of Blue Cross and Kaiser plans including Health Spending Accounts (HSA).
Dental. Dental Insurance is provided to eligible Propel employees through Metlife Dental. You may receive reimbursement when you receive service from any dentist. However, you receive the highest level of reimbursement when you see a network dentist.
Vision. When you enroll in a Propel medical plan, you and any dependents for whom you have elected coverage will automatically receive vision coverage, which is provided through Vision Service Plan. While you can use any optometrist or ophthalmologist you want, your out-of-pocket expenses are less when you use a VSP provider.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Propel is also pleased to offer an EAP at no cost to our employees. The EAP is a confidential service that provides information, referral, and short-term counseling for issues affecting work and family life. Each member of the family is entitled to up to nine visits, per issue, per year.
Income Protection and Survivor Benefits
We hope it won't happen, but if you become ill, are injured and unable to work, or die, Propel provides a full complement of benefits for you and your survivors.
Short Term Disability. For employees who are unable to work due to a serious medical condition, Propel will pay up to 66.67% of weekly earnings to a maximum of $1,500 per week for the first twelve weeks of disability.
Long Term Disability. If you are certified by a licensed physician to be unable to work beyond 12 weeks, Propel will provide Long Term Disability benefits of 66.67% of your covered monthly earnings to a maximum of $9,000 per month.
Life Insurance. The Company provides life insurance coverage of 1x base salary to a maximum of $150,000. In addition to basic life insurance, Propel provides Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) benefits of 1x base salary to a maximum of $150,000.
Financial Benefits
Planning on retiring in five years? Or maybe not for another 25? Either way, Propel offers a range of financial benefits designed to help you meet your financial goals.
401(k). We have teamed with Fidelity to bring you a 401(k) plan that allows you to defer from 1 - 60% of your pre-tax salary (up to the IRS limit) into any one of 26 Fidelity funds.
Stock Options. At Propel, we believe we are all in it together. We all share in the work, and we all share in the rewards. That is why at Propel, all regular full time employees receive stock options.
Time Off Benefits
One of our guiding principles is to maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Maybe you need a vacation, have a personal matter, want to donate some time to your community - regardless of the circumstances, your need may be accommodated through one of our time off benefits:
Flexible Time Off (FTO). FTO is available to regular employees to provide opportunities for rest, relaxation and personal pursuits as well as to take time off to handle illnesses of yourself or family members. Accrual begins immediately once you begin working for Propel.
| Years of Service | Accrual Rate per Month | Accrual Rate per Year |
| 0 - 2.0 | 11.34 hours | 17 days |
| 2.1+ | 13.33 hours | 20 days |
Holidays. Propel offers 11 paid holidays per year (subject to change).
Leave Programs. Propel adheres to all state and federal laws in providing various types of leaves. The Company will grant employees unpaid leaves of absence (if business conditions allow), and paid leaves of absence including bereavement leave and paid jury duty.
Other Benefits
Propel offers many other benefits, including but not limited to dry cleaning, onsite gym, subsidized cafeteria, etc.
